Held on the National Day of the Pavement Layer and Portuguese Pavement (July 22), these tours offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at a municipal collection of three thousand original wooden molds, some dating back to the 19th century.

Led by the technical team of the Historic Centre Territorial Intervention Unit, the visits reveal the preservation and inventory project behind these intricate molds, which are still used today to maintain and create the distinctive patterned sidewalks that define Lisbon's streets.
