Staged inside the massive 18th-century Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT offers one of the most unique festival layouts in the world. Rather than flat fields, the festival is built into the fortress's complex system of defensive walls, moats, historic tunnels, and cobblestone ramparts.

Navigating the fortress involves walking up and down stone staircases and through narrow archways. More than 40 stages and zones are tucked into different corners of the ramparts, meaning you can easily transition from loud main-stage acts to cozy acoustic sets hidden in the fortress moats.

The mts Dance Arena is widely regarded as one of the best electronic music stages in the world. Set within a deep, open-air moat of the fortress, it features massive sound systems, state-of-the-art light shows, and holds tens of thousands of clubbers.
