Alexey Marti & Afrogumbo

Born in Havana and now a fixture of the New Orleans music scene, percussionist Alexey Marti brings his high-energy show to Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro. A member of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Marti blends timba, jazz, funk, and Afro-Cuban folklore with local rhythms, creating a dance-worthy fusion. His original compositions draw from two albums, "Travesia" and "Mundo," and promise an evening of vibrant music.

The intimate setting of Snug Harbor on Frenchmen Street offers two performances, with the music room focusing entirely on the concert experience.
