Shinyribs, the Austin-based supergroup led by Kevin Russell, brings its signature blend of Texas singer-songwriter grit, Louisiana swamp rhythm, honky tonk, and Oklahoma swing to Seattle's Tractor. The current "Shortribs" configuration features a tight ensemble including drummer Keith Langford (Russell's musical partner of 30 years), bassist Mason Hankamer, the Delta Dawns singing duo (Kellee Broadway and Schaefer Llana), pianist Eric Baker, and lead guitarist/pedal steel wizard Cat Clemons.

A Shinyribs show runs the gamut from tongue-in-cheek winks and nudges to poignant stories of family, loss, grief, and love. Expect hip-shaking, booty-twerking, arm-flapping, high-kicking, and karate-chopping good times that send you home with aching cheeks and tear-stained laughter.
