Tame Impala, the psychedelic music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, brings its Deadbeat Tour to Boston. Known for a lush, immersive live show that blends swirling synths, driving bass, and Parker's ethereal vocals, the concert promises a journey through the project's evolving sound—from the guitar-heavy psych-rock of *Innerspeaker* to the disco-tinged pop of *Currents* and the more experimental *Deadbeat*.
Support comes from Djo, the musical project of actor and musician Joe Keery, whose own brand of psychedelic pop and rock complements the headliner's style. Attendees can expect a night of hypnotic visuals and tight musicianship, with Parker backed by a touring band that includes Dominic Simper, Jay Watson, and others who have helped shape the Tame Impala live experience over nearly two decades.
With a catalog that includes Grammy-nominated albums and ARIA Award-winning records, Tame Impala remains a defining act in modern psychedelic music. This Boston date offers a chance to hear hits like "Let It Happen" and "The Less I Know the Better" alongside newer material from *Deadbeat*, all in a high-energy concert setting.
