Bach & Tchaikovsky: Tucson Symphony Orchestra

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra, the oldest continuously running performing arts organization in the Southwest, presents an evening of masterworks by Bach and Tchaikovsky. Founded in 1928 with just two concerts, the orchestra has grown into a cornerstone of Tucson's cultural life, now performing over 60 concerts per season. Under the baton of conductor Yuriy Bekker, the orchestra brings to life the timeless compositions of two classical giants.

Attendees can expect a polished performance from the professional ensemble, which has a rich history of community engagement. The orchestra's season encompasses diverse styles, from classical to pops, but this concert focuses on the Baroque elegance of Bach and the Romantic passion of Tchaikovsky.
