Dear Evan Hansen (Touring)

Dear Evan Hansen is a stage musical with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Steven Levenson. The story follows Evan Hansen, a high school senior with social anxiety, who invents a role for himself in a tragedy. The show premiered at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. in July 2015 and later transferred to Broadway, where it ran from December 2016 to September 2022.

The touring production brings the musical to Phoenix, offering audiences a chance to see the show that won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The score features songs like "Waving Through a Window" and "You Will Be Found," which have become widely recognized. The plot centers on Evan's struggle with anxiety and his complicated relationships with the Murphy family after Connor's suicide.
