Stella US w/ Fossil Creek

Stella US, the Nashville alternative band that released its debut "Ascension" on Beggars Banquet in 1997, reunites for a special show at The Basement. The band—Curt Perkins, Alan Johnstone, Charles Wyrwick, and Preach Rutherford—will be joined by North Carolina's Danielle Howle for the duet "NYC," and original bass player Mike Grimes may guest on a song. The evening celebrates the release of new singles, including a Nick Drake cover.

Fossil Creek, also an alternative act, opens the night. The show marks a reunion of sorts for Stella US, who toured extensively after their critically praised debut and later released their second album "American Weekend" independently. Fans can expect a mix of classic material and fresh tracks in the intimate basement venue.
