Wicked (Touring)

Overview

The No Rest for the Wicked Tour brought Ozzy Osbourne's signature heavy metal across North America in 1988 and 1989, supporting his album of the same name. The tour featured a lineup that included Zakk Wylde on guitar, who had recently joined Osbourne and became his most enduring collaborator since Randy Rhoads. Bass duties were handled by Geezer Butler, reuniting the former Black Sabbath bandmates on stage.

Opening acts on the North American leg included Anthrax, White Lion, and Vixen, offering a diverse mix of hard rock and metal. The tour also included a historic performance at the Moscow Music Peace Festival on August 13, 1989, marking one of the first major Western rock shows in the Soviet Union. Fans could expect high-energy sets with Osbourne's theatrical stage presence and classic hits alongside new material.
