UniverSoul Circus Heads to Houston

UniverSoul Circus brings a vibrant, family-friendly circus experience to Houston. Founded in 1994 by Cedric Walker, this single-ring circus celebrates African-American culture and features a diverse cast of performers. The circus has grown from a single parking lot performance to a national tour, reaching over 30 cities. An HBO special about the circus debuted in 1998. While the focus is on entertainment, the circus also emphasizes cultural representation.
