Writers Night hosted by Steve Goodie

Since 1986, Sunday Writers Night at The Bluebird Cafe has been a cherished Nashville tradition, offering a platform for emerging songwriters who have earned their spot through an audition. Hosted by local comedian and songwriter Steve Goodie, each performer delivers a three-song set in an intimate listening-room setting designed to nurture their craft.

The evening unfolds in the cozy confines of the Bluebird Cafe, with 18 tables, 8 bar seats, and 8 pew church seats available for reservation. The remaining pew seats are first-come, first-served when doors open. Thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), tickets are free, with only minimal fees supporting website maintenance.

Attendees can expect a focused, acoustic atmosphere where songwriting takes center stage. The venue's food and drink minimum ensures a comfortable experience, while the all-ages policy makes it a welcoming event for music lovers of all generations.
