almost monday is an American indie pop and pop-rock band formed in 2015 in San Diego, California, by vocalist Dawson Daugherty, guitarist Cole Clisby and bassist Luke Fabry, who met in high school and began performing together at a local surf shop. The trio has remained the band's core lineup since its founding.

About almost monday
The band built an online following before signing to Hollywood Records in early 2019, and its 2019 single Broken People reached number 26 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart. Its debut EP, Don't Say You're Ordinary, followed in October 2020, with a second EP, Til the End of Time, released in July 2021.
almost monday released its debut studio album, Dive, in September 2024, led by the single Can't Slow Down, which became the band's first number-one on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart and one of the most-played songs on U.S. alternative radio in 2025. The band has opened for AJR, performed at festivals including Lollapalooza, BottleRock and Outside Lands, and surpassed a billion cumulative streams across its catalogue.
Its second studio album, Thank God It's Almost Monday, followed in September 2026 and earned the band a Best New Alternative Artist nomination at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, continuing a run of chart singles and international touring in the decade since its formation.
