About Between The Covers Live
The evening explores Christie's legacy, from her best-known characters Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple to her influence on contemporary crime writing, with panellists discussing favourite titles and stories from her career. Performances are typically followed by an interval or post-show signing session where audience members can meet the panel.
Between the Covers began on BBC Two in October 2020, created and presented by Sara Cox with Amanda Ross as executive producer and Cactus TV producing; the series ran for eight seasons and 50 episodes through December 2024, hosting guests including Graham Norton, Richard Osman and Bill Bailey. A live theatrical version of the format was first staged in 2024 with a separate lineup, before this Christie-themed edition extended the show's book-club format to the stage.
