Brandi Carlile
Brandi Carlile, born June 1, 1981, in Ravensdale, Washington, is an American singer-songwriter whose work blends folk rock, alternative country, and Americana with elements of classic rock. She has performed and recorded for most of her career alongside twin brothers Phil and Tim Hanseroth, her longtime bandmates and co-writers, and her live shows are built around close three-part vocal harmony with the pair.

About Brandi Carlile
Carlile's breakthrough album, The Story, arrived in 2007, and she went on to release By the Way, I Forgive You (2018), her highest-charting record at number five on the Billboard 200, and In These Silent Days (2021).
She co-founded the all-female supergroup The Highwomen with Amanda Shires, Maren Morris, and Natalie Hemby, and in 2025 released Who Believes in Angels?, a collaborative album with Elton John. Producer T Bone Burnett has been a frequent collaborator on her records.
Carlile has won 11 Grammy Awards from 28 nominations, two Emmy Awards in children's and family programming categories, and received an Academy Award nomination for the song "Never Too Late."
