About Brandon Flowers
Flowers wrote the songs that made up the Killers' multi-platinum debut, Hot Fuss (2004), and the band went on to release seven consecutive chart-topping studio albums, selling more than 22 million records worldwide and headlining venues including Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium, and Glastonbury Festival in 2007 and 2019. His songwriting draws on 1980s new wave and synth-pop touchstones such as New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen, and the Psychedelic Furs.
Alongside the Killers, Flowers has released two solo albums, Flamingo (2010) and The Desired Effect (2015), both of which reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, with a third, Thrasher, announced for 2026. Across his solo and band work, he has topped the UK Albums Chart ten times and reached number one on the Billboard 200; the Killers have earned seven Grammy nominations and eight BRIT Award nominations, and Flowers has individually received the Q Idol Award and an Ivor Novello Special International Award.
