About Bridget Christie

Christie won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2013 and a South Bank Sky Arts Award for Best Comedy in 2014. She created the BBC Radio 4 series Bridget Christie Minds the Gap, which ran across three series, and released the Netflix stand-up special Stand Up for Her in 2017.

In 2023 she created and starred in the Channel 4 sitcom The Change, playing a woman navigating menopause, a role that earned her a BAFTA nomination for Best Female Comedy Performance in 2024. Her stand-up work blends personal experience with political and feminist commentary, addressing subjects such as gender inequality through extended, character-driven routines.
