Cartel
Cartel is an American pop-punk band formed in 2003 in Conyers, Georgia, near Atlanta. The group came together while its members were attending Georgia State University and built an early following in the mid-2000s emo and pop-punk scene.

About Cartel
Their debut album, Chroma (2005), produced the singles "Say Anything (Else)" and "Honestly" and established the band nationally; that same year they won Yahoo! Music's "Who's Next" competition. Their 2007 self-titled follow-up was recorded live for MTV's Band in a Bubble, in which the band wrote and produced a full album in twenty days inside a glass structure. Later albums include Cycles (2009) and Collider (2013).
After a period of inactivity, Cartel reunited and returned to touring and recording, revisiting their catalog for new audiences. In 2025 the band released a re-recorded version of Chroma featuring a guest vocal from Cassadee Pope.
The current lineup is led by Will Pugh alongside guitarists Joseph Pepper and Nic Hudson, who continue to perform the band's catalog of melodic pop-punk material live.
