Channel Tres is the performing name of Sheldon Jerome Young, an American musician and producer born in 1991 in Compton, California, and raised in South Los Angeles, where he first played drums in church.

About Channel Tres
After studying music at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he returned to Los Angeles and worked as a producer for artists including Duckwrth, Wale and Kehlani before releasing his self-titled debut EP in 2018, led by the singles "Controller" and "Topdown," which drew airplay from BBC Radio 1 and Australia's Triple J.
His music fuses West Coast hip hop with hip house and club-leaning dance production, built around his own deep baritone vocals and live instrumentation across guitar and keys, a combination that has led to collaborations with Tyler, the Creator, Thundercat and Robyn.
He released the EP Head Rush in June 2024, with a full-length follow-up, Enigma POV, expected in 2026.
