About Chelsea Grin
The band has released seven studio albums: Desolation of Eden (2010), My Damnation (2011), Ashes to Ashes (2014), Self Inflicted (2016), Eternal Nightmare (2018), and the double album Suffer in Hell and Suffer in Heaven (2022-2023). Eternal Nightmare reached number 171 on the Billboard 200 and number 13 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart. The band has cited Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, Emmure, and Slayer as influences and has performed on package tours including Warped Tour.
Chelsea Grin has undergone repeated lineup turnover since forming. Founding vocalist Alex Koehler departed in 2018 and was replaced by Tom Barber, formerly of Lorna Shore; Eternal Nightmare was the first album made without any of the band's founding members. The lineup since has centered on bassist David Flinn, guitarist Stephen Rutishauser, Barber on vocals, and drummer Josh Miller, who joined in 2024.
