About Chris Stapleton

Stapleton co-wrote six number-one country singles for other artists, including Kenny Chesney's "Never Wanted Nothing More," George Strait's "Love's Gonna Make It Alright," and Luke Bryan's "Drink a Beer." Before establishing his solo career, he fronted the bluegrass group the SteelDrivers from 2007 to 2010 and the rock band the Jompson Brothers from 2010 to 2013. His solo debut, Traveller (2015), topped the Billboard 200 and was certified triple platinum; subsequent albums include From A Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2 (2017), Starting Over (2020), and Higher (2023), blending country, Southern soul, and classic rock.

He has won 12 Grammy Awards, 11 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 15 Country Music Association Awards, and was named ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Decade in 2019. Beyond his own recordings, Stapleton has collaborated with artists including Adele, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran.
