About Culture Club
Their second album, Colour by Numbers (1983), sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and produced the hit "Karma Chameleon." Other singles including "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me," "Time (Clock of the Heart)" and "Church of the Poison Mind" helped the band sell over 50 million records globally. Culture Club won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1984 and multiple Brit Awards, including Best British Group.
The band was active from 1981 to 1986 before Boy George pursued a solo career, and it has reformed periodically since, including a run from 1998 to 2002 and an ongoing reunion beginning in 2011 with various lineup changes, most notably drummer Jon Moss's departure in 2021.
