DOMi + JD Beck
DOMi and JD Beck are a French-American jazz duo made up of keyboardist Domi Louna (born Domitille Degalle), who began musical training at age three in France, and Dallas-area drummer JD Beck, who started on piano before switching to drums. The pair met in 2018 at the NAMM Show and quickly built a following through online performance videos showcasing their virtuosic, genre-blurring interplay.

About DOMi + JD Beck
Signed to Blue Note, they released their debut album, Not Tight, in 2022, featuring guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, and Anderson .Paak; the record topped Billboard's Contemporary Jazz chart and earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Contemporary Instrumental Album in 2023. A second album, Who Asked?, was announced for 2026.
The duo co-wrote "Skate" for Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars's Silk Sonic project in 2021 and have collaborated or performed with Thundercat, Herbie Hancock, Ariana Grande, and Mac DeMarco, including an NPR Tiny Desk Concert in August 2022. Their live shows center on dense, improvisational interplay between Louna's keyboard runs and Beck's rapid-fire drumming, fusing jazz technique with hip-hop and drum-and-bass rhythms.
