DragonForce
DragonForce is a British power metal band formed in London in 1999 by guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman, initially performing under the name DragonHeart before adopting their current name in 2002. The band is known for extremely fast, technical guitar work paired with video-game-inspired melodies and speed-metal arrangements.

About DragonForce
Their 2005 album Inhuman Rampage achieved gold certification and included the song later featured in the video game Guitar Hero III, which introduced the band to a much wider audience. DragonForce has released nine studio albums, including Ultra Beatdown (2008) and Warp Speed Warriors (2024), and received a Grammy nomination in 2009.
The band has undergone multiple lineup changes since its founding, with Li and Totman remaining the only constants. Marc Hudson took over lead vocals in 2011, drummer Gee Anzalone joined in 2014, and bassist Alicia Vigil joined in 2022; vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, also known for her work in Arch Enemy, joined the band in 2026. Live performances showcase the band's dual-guitar arpeggios and rapid tempos across a catalog built around fantasy and gaming themes.
