feeble little horse
feeble little horse is an American indie rock band formed in early 2021 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by guitarists Sebastian Kinsler and Ryan Walchonski alongside drummer Jake Kelley. Vocalist and bassist Lydia Slocum joined soon after, having previously worked with Kinsler in a project called Kiddie. The band's name and lowercase stylization reflect its lo-fi, do-it-yourself origins.

About feeble little horse
Blending indie rock with noise pop, shoegaze and slacker rock, the band combines noisy guitars, witty lyrics and synths, moving between screamed passages and softer, acoustic material. Their debut EP, modern tourism, arrived in May 2021, followed by the full-length Hayday later that year through Julia's War Recordings. The 2023 album Girl with Fish broadened their audience, led by the single "Freak," while the earlier track "Chores" received renewed attention from The New York Times and Pitchfork after its rerelease.
The band signed to Saddle Creek Records, which reissued Hayday with bonus material in 2022. Known for energetic, unpredictable live shows, the group paused touring in 2023 for health reasons before resuming performances in early 2024, appearing at festivals as their audience grew.
feeble little horse released the single "This Is Real" in March 2025 and announced its third studio album, Bitknot, for 2026, extending a catalogue built across three albums and one EP since forming in 2021.
