About Ferocious Dog

After building a following through early EPs, the band released its debut album in 2013 to strong reviews, followed by From Without (2015), the UK-charting The Hope (2021, No. 31) and Kleptocracy (2024). Current members alongside Bonsall include Sam Wood on banjo, mandolin and bouzouki, guitarist Kyle Peters, bassist Nick Wragg, violinist Jamie Burney and percussionist Luke Grainger.

The band's live reputation grew through appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury in 2015 and tours supporting acts such as The Levellers, culminating in a sold-out show at Nottingham's Rock City that made Ferocious Dog the first independent act to sell out the venue in its 35-year history. The band has announced a final tour for 2026.
