About Gladiators
Each episode features two male and two female contenders competing across a series of events against the resident Gladiators, building to a head-to-head final event, with the series structured as heats, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a grand final. The 2024 revival is presented by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh, refereed by Mark Clattenburg, and features Gladiators competing under names including Legend, Fury, Viper, Athena, Apollo and Diamond. The first series was filmed at Sheffield Arena and drew more than six million viewers for its premiere.
Following the show's revival, a live arena version, Gladiators Live Tour, began touring UK arenas, staging a roughly two-hour show in which Gladiators face Contenders across a series of the television show's events, building to an Eliminator finale, with purpose-built sets and arena production. The debut tour sold more than 200,000 tickets, and further UK arena dates have followed in subsequent years, alongside a third television series that began airing in January 2026.
