About In Flames

In Flames built its reputation with albums such as The Jester Race (1996), which helped define the genre's melodic, twin-guitar sound. Reroute to Remain (2002) marked a stylistic shift toward alternative metal that broadened the band's audience, followed by Soundtrack to Your Escape (2004) and Come Clarity (2006). The band has continued releasing new material in the decades since, including Foregone (2023), described by some critics as a return to its earlier sound.

In Flames has won seven Grammis, the Swedish equivalent of the Grammy Awards, including Best Hard Rock/Metal Album for Soundtrack to Your Escape, Come Clarity, A Sense of Purpose and Foregone. The band also received the Swedish Export Award in 2006 and continues to tour internationally, performing material spanning its three-decade catalogue.
