About Jack Savoretti
Savoretti released his debut single, "Without," in 2006, followed by his first album, Between the Minds, in 2007, which drew support from BBC Radio 2 and led Corinne Bailey Rae to invite him onto her European tour. He went on to release a further seven studio albums, including Harder Than Easy (2009), Before the Storm (2012), Written in Scars (2015) and Sleep No More (2016), before Singing to Strangers (2019) became his first number-one album on the UK Albums Chart; his following record, Europiana (2021), also reached number one. His music spans folk rock, indie pop and Americana, typically built around acoustic guitar, piano and harmonica.
Savoretti has recorded high-profile duets across his career, including a 2018 single with Kylie Minogue, and later Italian-language collaborations with Zucchero and Natalie Imbruglia. His 2024 album, Miss Italia, was sung largely in Italian and drew on his family's roots in Italy, where his grandfather led partisan resistance forces in Genoa during the Second World War.
Savoretti announced his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be the Way We Were, in January 2026, describing it as a full-circle return to his early years in London's Ladbroke Grove; its title track debuted on the UK Singles Downloads Chart.
