About Joe Jackson
His early singles, including "Is She Really Going Out with Him?" and "It's Different for Girls," the latter reaching No. 5 on the UK chart, established him commercially. His biggest international hit, "Steppin' Out," came from the 1982 album Night and Day, reaching No. 3 in the UK and No. 4 in the United States.
Jackson has released 21 studio albums over his career, including Look Sharp! (1979), Night and Day (1982), and Body and Soul (1984), alongside classical works such as Symphony No. 1 (1999). He has received five Grammy Award nominations and won Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2001 for Symphony No. 1.
He continues to record and tour, with the album Hope and Fury, described by his own team as a return to rock, released in 2026.
