Josh Ross
Josh Ross is a Canadian country singer and songwriter born May 27, 1996, in Waterdown, Ontario, and raised in Burlington, Ontario. A former varsity football player at Western University, he turned to music full-time after a series of injuries ended his football career, citing Steve Earle as a formative influence.

About Josh Ross
Ross moved to Nashville in 2019 after performing at Ontario's Boots and Hearts Music Festival, and signed jointly to Universal Music Canada and Mercury Nashville. His single Trouble reached number one on Canadian country radio and was certified double platinum in Canada and gold in the United States, helping him win the Canadian Country Music Association's Breakthrough Artist of the Year award. He has since scored four number-one singles at Canadian country radio.
In July 2025, his single Single Again reached number one on U.S. country radio, making Ross the first Canadian man to top that chart in nearly three decades. His EP Complicated won the Juno Award for Country Album of the Year in 2025, and he was named Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards.
Ross released his 15-track debut studio album, Later Tonight, in September 2025, co-written with Nashville songwriters including Ashley Gorley and Ryan Hurd, and has opened on tour for artists such as Luke Bryan and Jelly Roll as he continues to perform internationally.
