JP Saxe
JP Saxe, born Jonathan Percy Starker Saxe on March 23, 1993, in Toronto, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and the grandson of classical cellist János Starker. He began releasing music in 2012 and issued singles through 2017 and 2018 before his debut EP, Both Can Be True: Part 1, arrived in November 2018.

About JP Saxe
His 2019 single "If the World Was Ending," featuring Julia Michaels, became his breakout track, reaching the top 30 of both the Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100. A 2020 re-recording added Sam Smith, H.E.R. and Finneas O'Connell, with proceeds benefiting Doctors Without Borders.
Saxe released his debut studio album, Dangerous Levels of Introspection, in 2021, followed by A Grey Area on Arista Records in 2023. He has collaborated with John Mayer on "I Don't Miss You" (2023) and contributed to Serena Ryder's charity single "What I Wouldn't Do" (2023); his song "Same Room" was shortlisted for the 2020 SOCAN Songwriting Prize.
