About King Buffalo

The band's sound combines spacious psychedelia with progressive songcraft and riff-driven dynamics, incorporating hypnotic grooves and atmospheric textures alongside heavier surges of energy. King Buffalo released its debut full-length album, Orion, in 2016, followed by Longing to Be the Mountain (2018), Acheron and The Burden of Restlessness (both 2021), and Regenerator (2022), the third instalment of what the band called its pandemic trilogy.

King Buffalo has toured extensively across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, sharing stages with acts including Clutch, All Them Witches, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats, The Sword and Elder. The band has also released live recordings, including Live at Freak Valley and Live at Freak Valley Vol. 2, documenting its festival performances.
