About Kingfishr
The band's sound blends acoustic instrumentation with traditional Irish folk influences, built around close vocal harmonies and Keogh's lead songwriting. Kingfishr released their debut single, "Flowers-Fire," in 2022, followed in 2024 by the EP Shadow and the live album Live from Dublin, documenting the group's growing concert following in Ireland.
The band's commercial breakthrough came in 2025, when the single "Killeagh" topped the Irish Singles Chart. Their debut studio album, Halcyon, released in August 2025, debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart. The group followed with a second Irish number-one single, "The Sun Will Never Settle," in 2026.
Kingfishr is signed to B-Unique Records and has built its audience largely through live performance, touring across Ireland and abroad as its recorded catalog grew from singles and EPs to a chart-topping full-length album.
