Loe Shimmy
Loe Shimmy is the stage name of Shamar Williams Cox, an American rapper born in 1999 in Pompano Beach, Florida. He began releasing music independently on SoundCloud in 2020 with the EP Zombie Land, developing a laid-back trap and Southern hip-hop sound built around a melodic, coarse-toned delivery, citing Future and the Weeknd as influences.

About Loe Shimmy
His profile rose through features and singles including a placement on Kodak Black's 2023 album Pistolz & Pearlz, and singles "For Me" and "3am," a collaboration with Don Toliver that entered the Billboard Hot 100. Both records earned Gold certification and crossed a combined 170 million streams. He was named a 2025 XXL Freshman, one of hip-hop's annual honors for emerging artists.
Loe Shimmy took a two-year break from music following the death of his brother to gun violence before returning to a run of high-profile appearances, including a feature on Drake's Habibti and opening slots on Lil Baby's WHAM tour and a set at Rolling Loud California in 2025. He released his album Pretty Girlz Run the World, featuring Brent Faiyaz, Sexyy Red and Summer Walker, in July 2026.
