About Monster Jam

Competitions are divided into three formats: heads-up tournament racing, two-wheel skills challenges introduced in late 2017, and freestyle runs in which drivers get two minutes to perform stunts over ramps and crushed cars. In skills and freestyle events, winners are determined by fan voting submitted online during the show.

Long-running trucks such as Grave Digger are among the tour's most recognizable names, and Monster Jam's season culminates each year in the World Finals, billed by the organization as its championship event. The property has also expanded into video games, toy lines, and television coverage, with a feature film starring Dwayne Johnson in development.
