About New Orleans Saints
The Saints played at Tulane Stadium from 1967 to 1974 before moving into the Caesars Superdome, their home ground since 1975. The team endured twenty consecutive seasons without a winning record before reaching the playoffs for the first time in 1987, and its fortunes turned further after Sean Payton was hired as head coach in 2006 and quarterback Drew Brees joined that same year.
The Payton-Brees era produced the franchise's only Super Bowl title, a win over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV in February 2010, a victory widely tied to the city's recovery after Hurricane Katrina. The team has won nine division titles, two in the NFC West and seven in the NFC South, and made fourteen playoff appearances overall.
