Niis, pronounced "nice," is a punk band drawing members from Los Angeles and the Bay Area. The four-piece plays a raw blend of punk, hardcore, lo-fi garage, and early grunge, citing influences such as Rudimentary Peni, Crass, and Subhumans, and is fronted by vocalist Mimi.

About Niis
The band's sound pairs buzz-saw guitar work with a driving rhythm section, built around short, high-energy songs meant for small rooms and crowd participation. Niis released its debut EP, Not Niis, in 2020, followed by Must Be... in 2022.
The band has performed alongside established punk acts including GBH, FEAR, and Adolescents, and has played festivals such as Echo Park Rising in Los Angeles, SXSW in Austin, and Punk in the Park in Orange County, a lineup that also featured Pennywise, Circle Jerks, and The Dickies. Niis has continued to tour regularly while working on its first full-length album.
