About Noise Dept
His debut solo single, 'Real World,' was released via Altered States, the label founded by the production duo Zeds Dead, in July 2025. The track combines lush vocals, emotive piano and downtempo two-step drums, and was issued with both a radio edit and a club mix.
Jain has described his sound as emotionally driven electronic music that moves between ambient, trip-hop and techno, citing influences ranging from Radiohead, Bon Iver, Massive Attack and Burial to contemporary hip-hop artists. He has said that spending part of his childhood in India, reflecting his mixed Indian heritage, shaped his rhythmic and melodic sensibilities as a songwriter and producer.
