Peter Hook and the Light
Peter Hook and the Light is a British post-punk band formed in Manchester, England, in May 2010 by Peter Hook, the former bassist of Joy Division and New Order. Hook established the group after tensions within New Order made further collaboration with his former bandmates impossible, setting out to perform the catalogue of songs he had written across both bands in a live setting.

About Peter Hook and the Light
The band's lineup includes Hook on lead vocals and bass, joined by his son Jack Bates on bass, Paul Kehoe on drums and keyboards, David Potts on guitars and keyboards, and Martin Rebelski on keyboards and synthesizers. Vocalist Rowetta has appeared as a guest performer with the group.
Rather than promoting new original material, Peter Hook and the Light center their live shows on complete album performances drawn from Joy Division and New Order, including Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Movement, Power, Corruption & Lies, Low-Life, Brotherhood, Technique, Republic, and Get Ready. The band has toured extensively across Europe, North America, Australia and South America since forming, continuing to bring the two bands' recorded output to audiences who did not see the original lineups perform live.
