About Scott Bennett

His debut solo hour, About a Roy, earned a nomination for the Amused Moose Comedy Award and was named among the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015. Later shows, including Leap Year and Relax, received nominations for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and the industry publication Chortle named him a One to Watch comedian in both 2018 and 2019.

During the COVID-19 pandemic Bennett began Stand-Up from the Shed, a livestream series performed from his garden shed, which earned him the industry-voted Comics' Comic Best Act award for 2020. He made his television stand-up debut on BBC One's Live at the Apollo in 2021 and has since been a regular guest on BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz and The Now Show, as well as performing at the Royal Variety Performance in 2024.

Bennett has supported comedians including Rob Brydon, Jason Manford and John Bishop on national tours, and continues to tour solo shows including Nine Lives, Blood Sugar Baby and Stuff across the UK and Ireland.
