About Silverstein

The group blends emo, post-hardcore, screamo, melodic hardcore, and indie rock, with vocalist Shane Told alternating between screamed and clean singing. Their lineup remained unchanged from 2001 until 2012, when longtime member Neil Boshart departed; the current lineup includes Told, guitarist Josh Bradford, drummer Paul Koehler, bassist Billy Hamilton, and lead guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau.

Silverstein's breakthrough album, Discovering the Waterfront (2005), earned a Juno Award nomination and reached number 34 on the Billboard 200. The band has released thirteen studio albums to date, including Misery Made Me (2022) and the paired albums Antibloom and Pink Moon (2025).

Now recording for the label UNFD, Silverstein has sold more than one million albums worldwide over a career spanning more than two decades, and continues to tour and record as one of the longest-running acts in the post-hardcore scene.
