Spiritbox
Spiritbox was formed in Victoria, British Columbia, in 2017 by guitarist Mike Stringer and vocalist Courtney LaPlante, both previously of Iwrestledabearonce. The band built an audience through online releases before playing live, combining metalcore and progressive-metal riffing with electronic textures and vocals that move between harsh screams and R&B-influenced singing.

About Spiritbox
Their debut album, Eternal Blue, reached the UK and US charts in 2021, and the follow-up, Tsunami Sea, arrived in 2025. The band has supported acts including Ghost and Mastodon and played its first UK show at Download Festival in 2022.
