The Fixx
The Fixx are an English rock band formed in London in 1979, initially recording as Portraits before becoming The Fix in 1980 and settling on The Fixx when the group signed to MCA Records in 1982. The band emerged from London's new wave scene, pairing atmospheric synthesizers with reggae- and funk-inflected guitar rhythms rather than the more stripped-down sound common among their new wave peers.

About The Fixx
The longtime lineup features singer Cy Curnin, guitarist Jamie West-Oram, keyboardist Rupert Greenall, drummer Adam Woods, and bassist Dan K. Brown, several of whom have remained with the group since its formation.
Their 1983 album Reach the Beach became the band's commercial peak, certified platinum by the RIAA, and produced the hit "One Thing Leads to Another," which reached number four in the United States and number one in Canada. Other Billboard Hot 100 top-20 singles include "Saved by Zero," "Are We Ourselves?," and "Secret Separation."
The Fixx has continued to tour and record into the 2020s, releasing the studio album Every Five Seconds in 2022.
