The Script
The Script are an Irish pop rock band formed in Dublin in 2001, built from members of the earlier group Mytown after time spent working with producers in the United States. The lineup is led by Danny O'Donoghue (vocals, keyboards) alongside Glen Power (drums) and, more recently, Benjamin Sargeant and Ben Weaver; founding guitarist Mark Sheehan died in 2023.

About The Script
Their sound draws on Snow Patrol, U2 and Coldplay, mixing pop rock with soft rock and indie influences. Their self-titled 2008 debut album went to number one in the UK, and singles including "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," "Breakeven" and "Hall of Fame" (featuring will.i.am) helped the band sell more than twenty million albums worldwide.
