Yaelokre is a folk music and multimedia project created by Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter Keath Ósk, who was adopted into an Icelandic family and grew up with musical training from their mother and storytelling from their father. Ósk launched the project in early 2024 with the single Harpy Hare.

About Yaelokre

The song went viral on TikTok and YouTube in July 2024, topping Spotify's Global Viral Songs Chart for nine consecutive days and entering the TikTok Billboard Top 50. The project blends folk songwriting with Original Pilipino Music influences, and has been compared to a combination of Gorillaz's animated presentation and Maurice Sendak's illustration style.

Yaelokre is built around a fictional world called Meadowlark, centered on a musical ensemble called The Lark, made up of four characters, Cole, Clémente, Peregrine, and Kingsley, each represented by an animal-themed mask and voiced by Ósk. In live shows, Ósk performs in character wearing the masks and Renaissance-inspired costumes tied to the project's narrative.

Yaelokre has released the EPs Hayfields (2024), Songs of Origin (2024), and Origins (2025), the latter serving as a mythological prologue to the characters' stories.
