About Yonaka

The band built momentum through a run of EPs, including Heavy (2017) and Teach Me to Fight and Creature (both 2018), with the Creature title track topping the Kerrang! Rock Chart. Their debut album, Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow (2019), reached the UK Top 40 and earned the band a Best British Newcomer nomination at the Kerrang! Awards.

Live, Yonaka pairs Jarvis's powerful vocals with high-energy alternative rock, a combination that won them early tour support slots with Bring Me the Horizon and Fever 333. The 2021 mixtape Seize the Power, featuring collaborations with Fever 333 and Barns Courtney, pushed the band toward a more melodic sound.

After drummer Mason's departure in 2024, Yonaka continued as a trio, releasing the Welcome to My House EP (2023) and singles including Predator and Fight For The Right before returning with their sophomore album, Until You're Satisfied, in March 2026.
