This summer, the banks of the Seine transform into an open-air climbing paradise with Arkose Paris Plages. Set between Pont Neuf and Pont au Change, the event offers a free bouldering wall for all ages, from children aged 4 and up to experienced climbers. The 12-meter wall for adults and teens features over 20 boulders of varying difficulty, while a separate 8-meter wall is designed for younger climbers under parental supervision.
Beyond climbing, the event hosts a run-and-climb challenge throughout July, a suspension contest to test grip strength, and demonstrations with international athletes. Climbing shoe testing is also available, and all equipment is provided free of charge. Sessions run for 30 minutes, ensuring everyone gets a chance to climb in a safe, supervised environment.
