Fête du Jardin Shakespeare: Fado e não só

Set within the leafy Théâtre de Verdure du Jardin Shakespeare in the Bois de Boulogne, this evening concert is part of the 5th edition of the Théâtre de Verdure series. The performance, titled "Fado e não só," features Tânia Raquel Caetano, a Nantes-based artist who grew up in Paris after moving from Portugal. Her music bridges French chanson, jazz, and bossa nova with the soulful tradition of fado, which she discovered fully in 2015 during a "Fado vadío" night in Paris.

Attendees can expect an intimate open-air experience under the stars, with the singer weaving a cappella fados into her set. The venue is accessible to all, including those with reduced mobility, hearing or visual impairments, and offers sign language interpretation. The concert runs from 21:00 to midnight, creating a late-night atmosphere in one of Paris's most picturesque green spaces.
