Les bibliothèques hors les murs : édition 2026

This summer, the Hergé library takes its collection outdoors, bringing reading sessions to parks and the banks of the Bassin de la Villette. Visitors can settle into comfortable spots and enjoy stories, tales, and literary discoveries in the open air.

At Jardin d'Éole, sessions run on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, while at Paris Plages – Bassin de la Villette, the library teams from the 19th arrondissement welcome readers from Tuesday to Saturday. The event is free and open to all ages, offering a convivial atmosphere for both children and adults.

Please note that outdoor activities may be cancelled in case of bad weather; it is advisable to contact the library on the day for confirmation. This initiative is part of the larger "Les bibliothèques hors les murs" series, which aims to bring literature to public spaces across Paris.
