Bonbon Flamme at Gulbenkian Garden

Bonbon Flamme brings their vibrant, genre-blending sound to the Gulbenkian Garden amphitheatre. Led by cellist Valentin Ceccaldi, the quartet draws inspiration from a journey through Mexico, infusing their music with the colours, flavours, and contrasts of that experience. Their second album, *Calaveras y Boom Boom Chupitos*, reflects this rich tapestry.

Joining Ceccaldi are guitarist Luís Lopes, pianist Fulco Ottervanger, and drummer Étienne Ziemniak, all contributing to a performance described by UK Jazz News as having "an enormous range of colours" with atmospheric pieces, occasional childlike melodies, and a touch of ragtime.
